What's My Trash/Recycling Pick-Up Schedule Over the Holidays?

Here's what to expect as far as trash and recycling pick-up goes, from now through the New Year's holiday.

If you're entertaining guests or unwrapping a lot of presents over the next week or two, you're bound to have some garbage and recycling that needs picking up.

Here is the trash and recycling pick-up schedule from now through Jan. 7, courtesy of the City of Redwood City and Recology.

There will be NO CartSMART garbage, recycle or compost collection service on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Year's Day (Jan. 1).

If your regular trash pick-up day falls on or after one of these two holidays, your service will be pushed out by one day.

Regular collection services will resume on Jan. 7.

Here is the schedule for the next two weeks:

 

Monday, Dec. 24 - Regular service

Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) - No service, office closed

Wed., Dec. 26 - Regular service for Tuesday customers

Thur., Dec. 27 - Regular service for Wednesday customers

Friday, Dec. 28 - Regular service for Thursday customers

Sat., Dec. 29 - Regular service for Friday customers, office closed

Monday, Dec. 31 - Regular service

Tuesday, Jan. 1 (New Year's Day) - No service, office closed

Wed., Jan. 2 - Regular service for Tuesday customers

Thur., Jan. 3 - Regular service for Wednesday customers

Friday, Jan. 4 - Regular service for Thursday customers

Sat., Jan. 5 - Regular service for Friday customers, office closed

* Monday, Jan. 7 - Regular service to all customers resumes
