Basic Strategies for Self-Defense
Free workshops on basic strategies for self-defense offered by Alameda County Social Services Agency in Hayward and Oakland
Protect yourself on the street and anywhere you are. Retired law enforcement officer and martial artist Ken McCullum will share basic strategies to:
- Recognize and avoid potential dangers
- Deal with stalkers and unwanted sexual advances
- Disable and escape an assailant.
[Lecture only -- no physical activity required.]
Event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. No RSVP required. Seating is first come, first served. Light refreshments will be available. Hosted by the Alameda County Social Services Agency.
