Bites Off Broadway Kickoff May 10: Face Painter, Movie, New Food Trucks

The popular weekly food truck event will run from May 10 through Ot. 11 in front of Studio One Art Center.

Bites Off Broadway will celebrate the season's first food truck event on May 10 with an appearance by face painter Alana Dill and possibly some new vendors, according to an email from event producer Karen Hester.

The weekly event will take place Fridays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., May 10 through Oct. 11, in front of Studio One Art Center, 365 - 45th St., Oakland (at Lawton, about a block off Broadway).

A rotation of about 15 food trucks will include popular returnees from last year (Tina Tamale, Doc’s of the Bay, Fist of Flour Pizza Co. and Annakoot), plus Two Mammas' Vegan Kitchen, Go Streatery, Roderick's BBQ, Sanguchon, Sunrise Deli and some newcomers yet to be announced, Hester said.
