Pancakes! Hotcakes! Griddlecakes! Short stack! Flapjacks! Not-quite-crepes...
Whatever you call them, the Claremont Middle School Dads Club will be flipping them over and dishing them up on Saturday morning, April 6, at the Oakland-Durant-Rockridge Masonic Lodge #188, 5449 College Ave.
It's the fourth annual Community Pancake Breakfast, and you are encouraged to buy your tickets early at Brown Paper Tickets, brownpapertickets.com/event/332667.

Tickets are $10 per person ($11.34 with the service fee) and you will need to buy your tickets for a specific seating: 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. Children under 5 years old eat for free and do not require a ticket.
The menu will include pancakes eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, coffee and tea.

You'll also have a rare chance to tour the Rockridge Masonic Lodge, which traces its history to 1917.
According to its website, the Lodge first met in a building at the corner of College and Keith avenues where Market Hall now stands. The existing building at 5449 College Ave. was built in 1926-27. The Oakland and Durant Masonic Lodges merged with the Rockridge Lodge in the 1980s.
The Rockridge Masonic Lodge and the Rockridge District Association are co-sponsors of the pancake breakfast.
