The Clean, Safe, Healthy Child Care: Free Workshop

The Clean, Safe, Healthy Child Care is a QRIS training that is highly recommended for anyone who is participating in QRIS, but all child care providers are welcome. We will be talking about how to reduce the spread of germs and illnesses in child care programs. The class will focus on how to keep spaces clean and safe for children in lots of ways, including personal care routines. Participants will learn the current environmental rating scale protocols as identified in FCCERS and ECCRS. Specifically, we’ll discuss anything related to cleaning, sanitizing, and diapering. We will also cover ways to prevent health and safety issues from the start. Please note that this class does not replace the 16 hours of CPR/First Aid and Preventive Health training required by the state to operate or work in a child care program.
