C'mon, Rockridge: Let's Walk And Win 'Fittest County' Challenge!
Goal is to walk 150 minutes per week through June 5. (Contest actually began Sunday, so we need to get a move on.)

Bay Area Moves (BAM) is challenging residents of Contra Costa and Alameda counties, along with others in the Bay Area, to commit to 150 minutes of walking each week for 16 weeks as an individual endeavor or as as part of a nine-county-vs.-county challenge.
The challenge began Feb. 14 and runs through June 5.
Participants sign up as individuals or teams and record their walking times to receive certificates and become eligible for prize drawings. There is also a competition between the nine Bay Area counties, and the time participants spend walking also counts toward the totals of their home counties. The county with the most minutes logged wins recognition as the “Fittest County.”
