Comfort Food Coming to College Avenue
The owner of Hudson Bay Cafe said he hopes to open the restaurant next door to the coffee shop by the middle of this month.
Comfort food may be coming to College Avenue later this month.
Though he is still deciding between two names for the eatery, Sadri Madjlessi, owner of Hudson Bay Cafe, plans to open the restaurant next door at 5403 College Ave. by the middle of this month.

"Everyone was expecting a complete fusion menu," he said. "It just wasn't what we were about."
He said it would have been too complicated and the "pricing wasn't favorable."

However, he still plans to serve a few items off the I Squared menu such as lamb shanks and cabbage wraps.
he items on the menu will be reasonably priced, according to Madjlessi. Diners will get to try American classics with a small twist like lamb burgers and mac and cheese with panchetta.
A full bar will also be available to those who want to enjoy happy hour, which will be from Monday to Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m.
