CPS Grad Joins Carleton College Track Team

From a Carleton College press release:

Emma Vinella-Brusher, a resident of Oakland, CA, is a member of the Carleton women's indoor track and field team for the 2013 season. Vinella-Brusher is a graduate of College Preparatory School and is currently a first-year at Carleton.

Carleton is coached by Donna Ricks, who is in her 19th season as the Knights' head coach. Carleton is a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and NCAA Division III. The Knights placed second in last years MIAC Indoor Championships.

Ranked among the nation's top liberal arts institutions, Carleton is a private, co-educational college of 1,900 students located 40 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul. High academic standards, an excellent teaching faculty and a diverse student body contribute to Carleton's outstanding reputation.
