Favorite Mom Movies to Watch This Mother's Day
Don't forget Mom this Sunday! Pop some popcorn, pour her favorite beverage and settle in for some quality time.

The story of Mother’s Day is a testament to the unflinching perseverance of a daughter, Anna Jarvis to honor her mother, Ann Marrie Jarvis, and all the mothers in the world. What makes this story very endearing is the irony of the story itself: Anna was never a mother herself. It truly shows that her love for her mother was not ephemeral even long after Mrs. Ann Marie Jarvis’s death in 1905.
Anna‘s campaign to found a National Mother’s Day in the US began in 1907. The reception was rather tepid, but Anna’s firm determination paid off when President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed Mother’s Day as a national holiday.
