McNally's Goes for the Green on St. Paddy's Day
Whether you're craving a Guinness, an Irish coffee or a shot of Jameson — McNally's will make sure your glass is full for St. Patrick's Day on March 17.
You don't need the luck o' the Irish to find a good pub to celebrate St. Paddy's Day in Rockridge this year.
McNally's Irish Pub, located at 5352 College Ave., has been serving Irish drink favorites since it opened in 1933.
Bartender John Chapman has been working at the pub for the past 19 years and said St. Patrick's Day is the busiest time of year for them.

"The line goes out to the library," he said.
The small pub gets so crowded that Chapman said they open the back patio and furniture actually gets taken out to make extra room.

On March 17, he said, they will be serving the "holy trinity" of Irish beers: lager, ale and stout — all of which can be from the many kegs and bottles they will have on hand.
They will likely go through 36 bottles of Jameson, according to Chapman, which is most-ordered whiskey.
He expects to sell a couple of hundred Irish coffees, which is made using Kilbeggan Irish whiskey.
As for the amount of beer that will likely be consumed that day, Champman couldn't pinpoint a number but said they expect to sell "a lot."
