Oakland Man Dies Snorkeling At Maui Beach
He's one of three East Bay men who've drowned at Maui beaches in the past two weeks.

MAUI, HI - Oakland resident Bryan Beyer, 50, died on Jan. 18 while snorkeling in Hawaii.
He died at Kamaole Beach Park.
Beyer is one of three East Bay residents to die while snorkeling off Maui in the past two weeks. The other victims were Michael Mellin, 67, of Castro Valley and Alexander Tsukerman, 71, of Berkeley.

The men died in separate incidents, including two who died at the same beach. Beyer and Mellin were both Kamaole Beach Park. Tsukerman was found face down in the water at Maluaka Beach.
Both of the beaches are on Maui's southwest coast. No watches or warnings have been in place during the impacted time.
