OAKLAND, CA — A man was fatally shot in East Oakland on Tuesday morning was identified by police today as 49-year-old Errick Parker of Oakland.
Officers who responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of 90th Avenue at 6:53 a.m. on Tuesday found Parker suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.
Paramedics responded to the scene to provide medical treatment to Parker but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Oakland police haven't released any information about a motive or suspects in the shooting.
