On Tap Soon at The Hog's Apothecary: Microbrews, Sausage and, Maybe, Pretzels
The new beer hall is scheduled to open in late April or early May near Homeroom.

Opening day at The Hog's Apothecary, a beer hall/pub at 375 - 40th St., Oakland, is getting closer, but owners John Streit and Bradford Earle are still tweaking the menu, the East Bay Express reports.
Craft beers and sausage sandwiches will be the main attractions, but the owners say they will let customer demand decide how far to branch out from bratwurst and hot dogs into more ambitious variations on the sausage theme.
They are also hoping to provide Bavarian-style pretzels made in-house.
