OPD Releases Details of Arrests in March 8 Raid
Charges include assault, human trafficking, shooting at an occupied house, conspiracy and possession of an assault weapon.

The Oakland Police Department Wednesday announced the names of and charges against 16 people arrested as part of a massive raid on March 8.
The raid followed an investigation conducted by a team of officers, investigators, and agents from other law enforcement agencies into two groups, the Case Gang and the Money Team, according to an OPD "cimmunity message."
The investigation was part of the Ceasefire Initiative, a strategy designed to significantly reduce gang and group-related homicides and non-fatal shootings in Oakland, the message said.
