Rockridge: Home of the 'Affluent Creative Class'?

Do you see Rockridge as populated by rich, white, home-owning professionals who are lucky enough to live close to a BART station?

Those are all factors that led the Atlantic Cities blog to designate Rockridge as the Bay Area's #1 urban spot for the "creative class" of affluent professionals, according to an article on Oakland Local.

But Oakland is also the leader in "working class" neighborhoods, Oakland Local says.

Data was drawn from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Comunity Survey, the article says.
