Oakland Geology puts the "rock" in Rockridge with an exploration that begins at the BART station on College Avenue and ranges up to Acacia Avenue in a loop walk that includes plenty of uphill-and-down.
It's based on a walk in Charles Fleming’s Secret Stairs East Bay, as seen through a geologist's eyes. There's even a hint about the rock that gave the neighborhood its name.
Plenty of photos and a useful map are included too.
