Should Oakland Charge for Sunday Parking?
San Francisco is requiring motorists to feed meters on Sunday. The move is expected to raise $2 million.

Starting Sunday, all parking meters in San Francisco will operate seven days a week.
City parking meters will be in operation on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. everywhere in the city, according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
The move is expected to raise $2 million, but city officials told the Chronicle that the money isn't the real issue. "This isn't meant to be a revenue program, it's meant to improve parking management throughout the city," SFMTA spokesman Paul Rose told the Chron.
