Start-Up Donations Requested for The Homestead Apothecary
Nicholas Weinstein is trying to raise funds for a local business focusing on wild harvested, organic medicine.
A Temescal resident is trying to raise funds via indiegogo.com to open a space called The Homestead Apothecary to "offer ethically wild harvested and organic medicine to those in need."
Nicholas Weinstein has raised $2,370 so far toward his goal of $5,000.
Weinstein said that in preparation for the new space, he has "been living in the woods harvesting and making medicine, starting a CSM (community supported medicine) program on an organic farm, interning at a local herb shop and taking courses to become certified as a Communty Herbalist."
