Temescal Bank Hit by Robbers for Fifth Time
The Bank of the West branch at 4900 Telegraph Avenue was robbed four times in December, then again on Wednesday.

The Bank of the West branch at 4900 Telegraph Ave. was robbed Wednesday afternoon — again.
According to media reports, a man entered the bank about 12:20 p.m., gave a teller a note demanding money and left with the cash. No one was injured during the robbery, police said.
The Oakland Tribune reported that police believe the robber is the same man who held up the bank branch on Dec. 6. In that incident, a dye pack included with the stolen cash exploded as the robber left the building.
