The New Weight Watchers: CVS Requires Employees to Disclose Poundage, Body Fat, Other Health Info
A new policy by CVS Pharmacy says employees must provide information about their weight, body fat composition and other personal health details or pay a fine.

A new policy by CVS Pharmacy says employees must submit information about their weight, body fat composition and other person health details or pay a monthly fine, according to a report Wednesday on ABC News.
Employees will have until May 1, 2014, to visit a physician and have their health details — including weight, body fat and glucose levels, ABC reports. Employees who don't meet the deadline will have to pay an additional $50 per month for company health insurance plans.
CVS told ABC that the company will not actually see the details of the health screenings. Still, critics of the new policy say it is coercive and potentially discriminatory toward sick or disabled employees.
