Two Arrested After Temescal Armed Robbery

The juvenile suspects were taken into custody after they attempted a robbery in Berkeley, police said. Two stolen cell phones were recovered.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in early April, according to an Oakland Police Department press release.

The release says:

On April 4, 2013, at 3:00 PM, Oakland Police officers responded to the 4900 block of Coronado Avenue [between 51st and 49th streets] on a report of an armed robbery.

The victim and witnesses provided officers with a description of the suspects, the handgun used in the robbery, and also the suspects’ vehicle and license plate.

At 7:41 PM, Berkeley Police officers advised that they had detained the two suspects for attempted robbery in Berkeley. They were in the vehicle used in the Oakland robbery.

Officers arrested the two male juvenile suspects in connection with the crime and recovered two stolen cell phones.
