UPDATE: Westbound Lanes of Hwy. 24 Blocked After Police Chase Ends in Crash Near Caldecott Tunnel
Suspect's car crashed into other vehicles near the Fish Ranch Road exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes have reopened on state Highway 24 in Orinda next to the Caldecott Tunnel after a police pursuit this morning ended with the suspect's car crashing into other vehicles, authorities said.

The right lanes of westbound Highway 24 were blocked for about an hour as a result of the collisions, which were reported near the Fish Ranch Road exit just east of the Caldecott Tunnel around 10:45 a.m., according to an advisory issued on 511.org.
It is unknown what prompted the police pursuit or whether anyone was injured in the crashes.
