What's Open, What's Closed for Presidents Day

Here's the local holiday schedule for Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 18:

City of Oakland: City administrative offices closed. No street sweeping. Visitors will have access to parks; however gates and restrooms will be closed and staff will not be on site. Senior centers closed. Head Start and Early Head Start sites closed. The Broadway Shuttle will not operate.

Oakland public libraries (main library and all branches): All libraries closed on Monday. On Tuesday, Feb. 19, all branch libraries will be closed, but the Main Library will be open.

Oakland Animal Shelter: Open.

Parking: Free parking at meters.

Oakland Unified School District: Schools and administrative offices closed.

Garbage service: Normal service.

Alameda County offices, Alameda County Superior Court: Closed.

BART, AC Transit: Sunday service schedules.

State of California offices, federal offices: Closed.

Banks: Closed.

Stores, businesses: Varies.
