Where Do You Log in? What's Your Favorite Wi-Fi Spot?

It’s official!  Unfortunately, the BART strike will continue into Monday and affect the morning commute.   You might consider riding your bicycle across the bay like this guy or you might consider telecommuting.

But, just because you don’t have to show up in the office doesn’t mean you want to work from home.  We asked our Facebook followers to tell us the best places to work when all you really need is a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

Here’s what we learned.

Carol Lynn Miller Featherstone likes Blue Dot Café and Coffee Bar or Jay’s Coffee, both on Encinal.  Amy Griffiths is partial to the Alameda Library though she laments that it’s closed on Fridays.  Others recommended Spritzer’s on Central, Julie’s on Park and the Wescafe on Webster.  And then there was Anita Shaw who wins the “stay strong and focused” award for suggesting “Jim's On the Course at Chuck Corica Golf Course!”

Cece Adams and Paul Gao both suggest the San Leandro Main Library.  Adams called it the fastest fiber optic connection on the West Coast.  Gao also suggests the local Starbucks which has four stores in San Leandro.
