Help wanted at the home improvement company's stores as the busy spring sales season approaches.
Job seekers, put Home Depot on your radar — the company announced Wednesday that it will hire about 1,500 new employees in the Bay Area, according to an article in the San Jose Mercury News.
Home Depot operates some 30 stores in the Bay Area. The closest is the store at 3838 Hollis St., Emeryville, although the company suggests applying to multiple locations to increase your chances.
Students and retirees are urged to apply.
