After 10 Years, K1 Speed Will Take Over RPM Kart Racing
Friday will be the last day for RPM Kart Racing.

RPM Indoor Kart Racing has been sold to K1 Speed, effective Dec. 1.
The news comes straight from RPM's Facebook fanpage.
"I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers, suppliers and friends who have made this an awesome ride for the past 10 years," read a Wednesday Facebook post.

According to RPM officials, in celebration of its 10-year run, RPM will welcome guests with $10 hot laps all day long.
"$10 Hot Laps all day long with Free Monster Energy Drinks just to say "Thank You' to all of our amazing Members for the past 10 years!"

K1 takes over on Dec. 1. One major difference that will set K1 apart from its predecessor will be the karts. RPM has traditionally used gasoline karts and K1 bills itself as an electric company.
