Sacramento Organizations Receive Easter Baskets Packed with Goodies for Children ages 4-12

UnitedHealthcare employees and local volunteers delivered about 220 Easter baskets this week to children and families at Next Move and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sacramento.

Next Move in Sacramento, which offers emergency, transitional and permanent housing, along with children’s services programs, is one of only two shelters in the greater Sacramento area that allows the entire family to stay together in one room.

“We are very grateful for partners like UnitedHealthcare,” said Tricia Rosenbaum, executive director for Next Move. “Providing a safe place to live and dream is a great place to start in improving the quality of life for the children we serve. Through this generous donation, we were able to start their morning off with a smile.”

More than 1,500 Easter baskets are being delivered by UnitedHealthcare employees and local volunteers to children at nine nonprofit organizations across California.  This is the eleventh year that UnitedHealthcare employees in California have come together to donate, assemble and decorate the baskets.
