2016 Golden Globes Nominees and Predictions
Patch California's film critic Beau Behan takes his best stabs in this year's film and television categories.

Many would argue that the Golden Globes are not quite the Oscars; however, its mass appeal still conjures images of excitement, fun, and laughter. At the core, its unpredictability is what makes the Golden Globes so entertaining!
With a plethora of 40 films and 37 different TV series, miniseries and made-for-TV motion pictures, the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will be simulcast live on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016. At 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT, Red carpet pre-show on E! begins, and at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, Ricky Gervais returns as host of the three-hour awards ceremony on NBC.
