Body Found On The Side Of The Road In Rural Placer County
Breaking: Placer County police are treating the investigation as a homicide
ROSEVILLE, CA — Placer County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a homicide Friday, according to a post on the department's Facebook page. A farmer saw the body of an Asian man lying on the side of Sunset Boulevard west of Fiddyment Road at 8 a.m. Friday. He called the cops, according to the report, but the man was dead from a gunshot wound when first responders arrived.
Detectives will be at the scene of the crime for most of Friday, so Sunset west of Fiddyment will be closed. Police say they will release more information as it becomes available.
