Guns, Meth Seized, Suspect Arrested Following Sacramento Search: Police

SACRAMENTO, CA — Davis Police report that investigators from Yolo County Narcotics Enforcement Team (YONET) seized 12 firearms and a quantity of methamphetamine during a search of a motel room in Sacramento and a storage locker located in Woodland on Friday.

Zachary Hicks, 31, of Woodland, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, being armed in the commission of a felony, and violating his probation.

The investigation began earlier this month after police received information about drug trafficking.

Hicks was booked at the Yolo County Jail.
