Man Arrested in Connection with Lafayette Bank Robbery Suspected in Sacramento Heists
Breaking: Police investigators believe the Oroville man may be linked to other bank robberies in Northern California.

LAFAYETTE, CA — Police investigators have arrested an Oroville man suspected of robbing in the U.S. Bank in Lafayette on August 23. Robert Keith Dennis, 55, was already in custody in the Butte County Jail for a drug violation when a deputy saw a law enforcement bulletin with a picture of the alleged bank robbery suspect.
Police say investigators learned the suspect was possibly connected to a series of recent bank robberies in Davis, Brentwood, Napa, Roseville, and Sacramento.
“On Thursday, September 1, 2016, Lafayette police detectives served arrest and
search warrants at several locations in Oroville,” police said in a statement. “Police arrested 47-year-old Elizabeth Fay Morse of Oroville after Napa police detectives were able to confirm her alleged involvement in some the robberies.”
