Man Pistol-Whipped, Robbed by Suspects Wearing Clown Masks
A woman was also robbed the same day on Blue Oaks Boulevard in another incident.

Three suspects wearing matching clown masks allegedly robbed and pistol-whipped a man walking near Downtown Roseville at 12:35 a.m. Aug. 4.Â
Police are searching for the four suspects — three wearing clown masks and another driving the getaway car, a black 1990s Honda Civic four-door sedan. The car had a lot of body damage on the doors and side panels, according to Roseville Police.Â
The sedan pulled up next to the victim walking in the area of Oakland and Fig streets and three suspects wearing the clown masks got out of the car. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded he empty his pockets. The suspect then struck the victim in the face with the handgun after he said he didn't have anything, according to the Roseville Police crime log.Â
The suspects took the victim's cell phone, shoes, baseball cap and fled.Â
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his facial injuries.Â
In another incident, a woman was robbed the same day while walking on Blue Oaks Boulevard.Â
According to Roseville Police, at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 4, a male robbed a woman of her purse and jewelry while she was walking to her car from a convenience store at Foothills and Blue Oaks boulevards.Â
The suspect, described as a dark-complexioned black male in his 20s, 5'10" to 6'0" tall with a slim build, wearing a black hat, black t-shirt and blue jeans, ran away south into the field near the road.Â
