Roseville Clinic Unable to Save Lead-Poisoned Eagle

The eagle was being treated by the Bird and Pet Clinic since March 7.

A golden eagle Roseville vets were hoping to nurse back to health, unforunately died this past Sunday, News10's Suzanne Phan, who originally reported on the bird's journey, said on Twitter.

The eagle was brought into the Bird and Pet Clinic of Roseville on March 7 with high levels of lead, and could not move its feet or talons, according to the News10 story.

Though the eagle had shown signs of recovery, Phan reports health care providers were unable to save the animal.
