Students at Merryhill Preschool in Roseville Donate Toys to Children in Need
Students collected and donated toys to benefit Toys for Tots
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Jan. 23, 2017) – Students at Merryhill Preschool in Roseville collected new toys to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Preschool students and their families donated enough toys to fill two large bins, which will be given to children in need for the holidays. At the close of the toy drive, a retired veteran visited the school to pick up the donations.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program’s mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute the toys as gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
