None of the pedestrians were injured, according to Roseville Police.

A suspected drunk driver allegedly tried to run over a group of pedestrians multiple times with his pickup truck on March Road off PFE Road in Roseville.

From the Roseville Police Department:

At 6 p.m. Oct. 4, officers responded to a call about a pickup driver trying repeatedly to run over a group of pedestrians in the 2100 block of March Road, according to Roseville Police.

With the help of witnesses, officers located and detained the suspected pickup driver in the parking lot of the Roseville Market on PFE Road. They found that the driver had gotten into an argument with a group of freight-train riders about them asking him for cigarettes.

According to the victims and witnesses, the driver then got into his truck and drove directly at the victims, causing them to jump out of the way and take cover, and repeated the maneuver three or four times, until he crashed his car into some rocks in a landscape area and blew a tire.

None of the victims reported being injured.

A 39-year-old Roseville man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and DUI.
