Five Things to Know in Roseville This Week:

 

National Night Out: Is your neighborhood holding a barbecue or block party for National Night Out? Neighborhoods throughout the country come together in an effort to bring crime-prevention awareness. It starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 in multiple Roseville neighborhoods. Find out more here. 

Food Truck Mania: From 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 a dozen SactoMoFo food trucks will be in Downtown Roseville for the monthly Food Truck Mania events. Check out the truck lineup here. 

Fountains Summer Concert: American rock/country band "The Nickel Slots" will perform during a summer concert at the Fountains at Roseville from 8-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10. 

Movie in the Park: Watch "Megamind" in the park for the summer Movies in the Park. The movie starts at sundown on a 30-feet screen Saturday, Aug. 10 at Lockridge Park, 2601 Eureka Road. 

Perseid Meteor Shower: Viewers should be able to observe around 60 "shooting stars" per hour during this year's Perseid Meteor Shower. The best days to see them in Roseville will be Sunday, Aug. 11 and Monday, Aug. 12. Read more about the shower here.
