2020 Latina Estrella Awards Pivots in Light of the Pandemic
The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is Set to Celebrate "A Week Full of Estrellas" as part of its 2020 Latina Estrella Awards.

The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SACHCC) continues to pivot its programing to reach a broader audience in light of the COVID 19 pandemic. “Estrellas Week” follows the success of the organization’s State of Hispanics back in September of this year. The Estrellas Awards celebration is a multi-channel approach to recognize a cohort of Latinas in the following categories: Rising, Inspiration, Champion, and Legacy. Awardees will be recognized in a series of videos that will air on local tv stations and social media channels.
“We are grateful to our partners at Telemundo 33 and ABC 10 for joining SMUD in helping us rethink the delivery of our signature event,” said Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, SACHCC President/CEO. “With 7.72 Million Latinas in California, whether it’s through social media, television, print, or radio, we are committed to empowering Latinas by highlighting the impressive work and stories that can touch the lives of young women and motivate our communities through these hard times,” she added.
This year’s Latina Estrella Awards include:
