9-Year-Old Girl Killed In Drive By Shooting; 3 Injured

SACRAMENTO, CA — A 9-year-old girl was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting at a Del Paso Heights Park Saturday, The Sacramento Bee reported. Three others were injured in the shooting around 1:10 p.m.

Shots were reported close to the 3700 block of Haywood Street, near Mama Marks Park. The family who was shot at was having a gathering at the park when the gunman drove by and fired, The Sacramento Bee Reported.

While the 9-year-old girl was declared dead at the scene, another woman and a 6-year-old were taken to a nearby hospital. The woman is in critical condition and another man was in stable condition, The Sacramento Bee Reported.
