- It was a Father's Day dinner to remember for this father/son duo! They saw flames from a nearby 3-alarm fire threatening their church near their home, so they leapt from the dinner table to help. (KCRA3)
- It was also a Father's Day to remember for the folks who live on the 7200 block of Palmer House Drive as a truck leading a high speed chase by police barreled through cars, barriers and fences to come to rest in the side of someone's garage. The driver was taken to an area hospital. (CBS Sacramento)
- The Shell-a-bration returns to the River City! The Mermaid Convention will be calling Sacramento home again this year. The event will be July 9-11. Check out this story to see all that they have in store for us! (FOX40)
- A deadly hit and run was followed by a chase and a shootout in the Carmichael area Monday morning. The suspect drove off after fatally hitting a pedestrian in a Safeway parking lot. He then rammed another car and pulled a gun on the victim before a bystander shot the suspect. The name of the suspect has not been released. (CBS Sacramento)
- What some thought was a stray dog turned out to be a coyote in a Sacramento neighborhood! Animal Control said that, with people staying inside with the stay at home orders, coyotes migrated into the area. (CBS Sacramento)

- It's paints and pints at Tilted Mash in Elk Grove! You'll create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of springtime flowers. Reserve your seats in advance on Eventbrite. $35 (6 pm)
- Cub Scout pack 107 is hosting Game Night At the Park at Madera Park in Citrus Heights! There will be tons of games to play and you are encouraged to bring a friend or two! (7 pm)
- It's Toasty Tuesday Trivia at The Cabin. Bring your thinking cap, your team and your culinary sense of adventure if you want to try one of their s'mores cocktails with a flaming marshmallow! 21 and older, please. (7 pm)
- Every Tuesday is Mambo Tuesday at Yamaya. You can take a 45-minute lesson before the dancing starts or bring your percussion instrument and jam instead of dancing! $5 gets you in the door. (8:15 pm lessons; 9:00 pm dancing)
