CalOSHA is investigating the death, ABC 10 reported.
Amazon has been criticized for poor working conditions at fulfillment centers. In September, a 28-year-old fulfillment center worker in Carlisle, Penn., died on the job in a truck accident. Other reports have described conditions inside fulfillment centers as "grueling," where workers are closely watched and timed on each item they package.
