Jon Taffer, T-Pain Come To 'Bar Rescue' Of NorCal Spot In Premier

SACRAMENTO, CA — A NorCal sports bar & grill that operates in the tourist district of Sacramento will be featured on the Season 7 premier of the Paramount Network show "Bar Rescue."

Jon Taffer, the show's host, is teaming up with his "good friend" T-Pain to help rescue the SacTown Sports Bar & Grill from the financial troubles that center around its owner.

"T-Pain and Jon Taffer travel to historic Old Town Sacramento to resurrect an owner haunted by the ghosts of his past, as well as his failures as an owner to put his own interests in front of his business," Paramount Network told Patch in an email.

The new season will premier Saturday on Paramount Network at 10 p.m.

In the first episode of Season 7, Taffer and T-Pain put on disguises to experience SacTown's food and service in the most genuine way possible. You might never be able to have T-Pain "Buy U A Drank" but you can watch him make faces at a poorly mixed drink in the struggling NorCal bar.

SacTown Sports Bar & Grill is located at 106 J Street in Sacramento and has been open for three years.

"Bar Rescue's" host Taffer is a nightlife expert that helps struggling bar owners overcome health hazards, poor staffing and branding issues in order to turn them into successful establishments.

"Bar Rescue" airs nationally as a reality show focused on the business of nightlife but it usually exceeds the normalcy of financial strategy and transports viewers into the lives and stories of the people involved.
