Last Sacramento K-Mart To Close By Early September: Report

SACRAMENTO, CA — Five years ago, there were more than 2,000 Sears and K-Mart retail locations around the country. As of early September, there will be about 1,200. The K-Mart on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento is part of the most recent round of closures, according to a report on CBS Sacramento. It's the last K-Mart in the Sacramento area.

The store joins a list of 72 stores that are being closed by Sears Holdings, K-Mart's parent company. You can read the full story here.
