Merryhill Preschools Donate 200+ School Supply Items

Students at Merryhill Preschools in Davis and on Calvine Road in Elk Grove recently donated more than 200 school supply items to About Kidz, a local nonprofit organization that benefits underprivileged children. Over the past month, students collected backpacks, pencils, glue, crayons, tissues and more to donate to the organization. Students also decorated canvas pencil cases for children to use to hold their supplies. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to children in need.

About Kidz is an organization established to meet the practical needs for underprivileged children in their communities in an effort to create equal opportunities for academic and athletic excellence. The organization focuses on addressing the most basic needs of low-income and at-risk children in order to make the biggest impact on families in their community.
