Oscar Festival Scheduled At Sacramento Theater

The Century 16 theater will be screening all 2021 Best Picture nominees for $5 each, as well as some Best Shorts nominees.

SACRAMENTO, CA — Want to watch all of the Best Picture nominees for this year's Oscar awards? The Century 16 Greenback Lane and XD in Sacramento will be screening them April 19-25 during Cinemark's annual Oscar Movie Week festival.

Movie lovers can pick and choose the films they want to see, whether just a few or Cinemark's entire Oscar Movie Week offering. In addition to all the Best Picture nominees, the theaters will also screen some of the nominated films in the Best Shorts category, according to Cinemark.

Tickets for each feature-length Best Picture nominee will be $5 per film. Movie enthusiasts looking to just catch the shorts can purchase a $10 ticket to see all shorts between April 23 and April 25.

The 93rd Oscars will be held April 25 at Union Station Los Angeles and the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. It will be televised live on ABC at 5 p.m. Pacific.

Coronavirus safety protocols will be in place at the theaters. In addition to enhanced cleaning and sanitation, Cinemark said theaters will have staggered showtimes and limited capacities to maximize physical distancing. Face masks will be mandatory for all guests and employees, although they can be removed for eating and drinking.
