  1. Old Sacramento was hopping on the first fully-open weekend in Sacramento. Restaurants there saw a surge in business. Restaurant owners are working hard to keep up with a shortage of staff. (ABC10)
  2. The body of a missing UC Davis grad was found in Russia over the weekend. Catherine Serou, 34, was found in a wooded area 250 miles east of Moscow. Although the cause of death wasn't mentioned, a suspect has been arrested on suspicion of murder. (KCRA3)
  3. Beat the heat with a swim at these 14 public swimming pools in the City of Sacramento. Admission is only $1.00! (Sacramento City Express)
  4. A mix of low snowpack in the Sierras, an unusually dry Fall and an unseasonably warm spring have combined to leave Folsom Lake at the lowest June level since 1977. The Tahoe snowpack was only 70% of normal. Usually, that would be enough to fill Folsom Lake, but most of the water disappeared before it got there this year, being soaked into dry soil or sucked up by the sun. (Gold County Media)
