A warming and drying trend is expected Sunday through most of the upcoming week, according to the National Weather Service.

BAY AREA, CA — A warming and drying trend is expected Sunday through most of the upcoming week, according to the National Weather Service. Winds in the Bay Area will be mostly light, with a possibility of occasional moderate to strong winds in the North and East Bay hills.

San Francisco will be mostly sunny with highs in the lows 70s, before dropping to the mid 50s at night. Oakland will be sunny with highs in the upper 70s during the day.

Sunday night will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s. San Jose will also be mostly sunny throughout the day, with highs in the high 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

Santa Clara is forecast to be mostly sunny as well. Highs are expected to reach the high 70s, and lows at night will be in the mid 50s.

A Spare the Air alert is issued from Sunday through Tuesday.
