Driver in Fatal Mission Area Head-On Collision Identified

San Francisco Police have released the name of a man who died the fatal accident Sunday.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- A driver killed in a head-on collision in San Francisco's Mission Dolores neighborhood on Sunday has been identified by the medical examiner's office as 63-year-old San Francisco resident Stanley Tickens.

Tickens died in a collision at 5:20 p.m. at 18th and Guerrero streets, according to police.

Police said on Sunday that the driver responsible for the crash was the one who passed away and that he died either as a result of the collision or possibly of a medical emergency.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
