Formerly Homeless Families Have New Homes In SF

An apartment building is designated for 40 formerly homeless families and 43 low-income families.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Dozens of the most vulnerable families in San Francisco received new homes Thursday in the city, officials with a housing developer said.

At 10:30 a.m. San Francisco Mayor London Breed, Supervisor Matt Haney and officials with the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation celebrated the grand opening of 1036 Mission St.

The address is home to an apartment building where 40 formerly homeless families and 43 low-income families will now live.
