Lemonade Opens New Inner Sunset District Location

The restaurant is open daily from 11 am to 9:05 pm, and is available for catering 7 days a week.

From Lemonade: Among the first trendsetters with its contemporary cafeteria-style dining, Lemonade launches the next generation of its acclaimed brand at 1266 9th Avenue, along the main avenue of San Francisco’s Inner Sunset district. Opening June 13th 2017, Lemonade at Sunset marks the first Bay Area rollout of next generation stores also designed to reflect the nuances and personality of its various neighborhood settings throughout California.

“Lemonade has been in growth-mode since its debut in West Hollywood in 2008 and now has 28 locations throughout California, with the Inner Sunset marking its sixth Bay Area location. The company is focused on further expansion and has invested in this next generation experience to capitalize on one of the most talked about fast casual brands”, said Larry Kurzweil, CEO. “Lemonade at Sunset will now feature state of the art LED menu monitors and all new entree food stations in addition to our signature a la carte selections that will enhance our guest’s experiences at both lunch and dinner.” Lemonade at Sunset is open daily from 11:00 am to 9:05 pm, and is available for catering 7 days a week.

Lemonade Founder and Executive Chef Alan Jackson adds, “Lemonade is a California brand expanding locally and is a perfect fit for the relaxed Northern California lifestyle. Bordering Golden Gate Park and home to UCSF campus, we chose the Inner Sunset neighborhood because it remains close to nature without losing its big-city edge."

THE MENU: CALIFORNIA-FOCUSED & SEASONALLY DRIVEN
Known for its delicious tasting 50-plus item menu, Lemonade at Sunset will showcase a new line up of custom crafted plates, including a carving station with gourmet roasted sous vide steak, chicken, and Ahi tuna dishes, along with all new entree salads and toasted sandwiches curated by Lemonade Founder and Executive Chef Alan Jackson. Aimed to expedite ease of ordering while also providing exceptional value, Lemonade’s Chef’s Seasonal Plate combinations will also include special selected meal plates in each of these three categories.

Committed to welcoming the varied needs of today’s modern diners, Lemonade offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, as well as convenient ready to grab-and-go meals, and an entire new line up of fresh cold-pressed lemonades.

Jackson explains, “We have taken initiatives to segment our food stations more clearly, enhancing the guest experience and interaction with our team members. Our new menu is an exciting evolution of what the Lemonade brand is known for and allows our guests unsurpassed freedom of choices. While our Marketplace Salads remain the core of the menu and you still may order everything a la carte, I’ve added a whole new offering of hot meats and poultry centered around tender grilled steak, crispy succulent chicken, and seared line-caught tuna, a robust entrée salad program showcasing all new fresh leafy salads, and recreated the sandwich menu to highlight regions in California.

THE SPACE
The sunlit 2,300 square foot space on 9th Avenue in the heart of Inner Sunset offers indoor and outdoor seating in a bright modern atmosphere. The warm, comfortable design features an interior dining area with custom solid wood booths, deep banquets, and large windows to enhance natural illumination, as well as an intimate outdoor covered patio. Marking a first-time collaboration with Northern California design group Rapt Studio, Lemonade at Sunset was crafted to specifically showcase the surrounding neighborhood and community, with a look and feel of its own.
