After all, Phil Collins is one of the world's best-selling artists. He has released eight studio albums that have sold an estimated 150 million copies worldwide. He is in a rare club with recording artists Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson who have sold more than 100 million records as both a solo artist and a principal band member. In 1996, Collins left his band Genesis to focus on solo work, and three years later he received an Oscar for his work on Disney's "Tarzan."
Multi-instrumental, Collins acted as drummer and lead singer of Genesis before launching his solo career. Over the years, he has received eight Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and a Disney Legend Award. To be sure, the show at Chase Center is one of the top tickets of the year.
Collins will perform at Chase Center on Thursday Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale, starting at $83.
